Corporate Sales Executive – UK

Our client is a specialist asset finance company, providing funding facilities to UK SME’s and High Net Worth Individuals. Their prime objective is to utilise their knowledge and expertise to provide appropriate funding solutions for all company clients. A major focus of their’s is on developing long lasting relationships built on trust and integrity with all company clients and introducers.

Due to recent success, they are now looking for a Corporate Sales executive to expand their sales team.

Key Responsibilities

The Corporate Sales Executive will be responsible for developing new business sales. Their main focus will be as a self-starter able to spearhead the growth of the business through direct sales. They will research, identify and target hard asset opportunities. They will be targeted to achieve sales objectives on volume, yield and income. The main focus of the role is as follows:

  • To research, identify and target hard asset finance opportunities to maximise new business
  • To take a proactive role in identifying and approaching customers and dealers
  • To promote the company’s finance products and services
  • To undertake a proactive approach and ensure all leads identified are pursued
  • To discuss and negotiate proposals with potential customers and dealers
  • To negotiate the terms of a proposal, submit for approval and prepare documentation in line with agreed procedures
  • The Achievement of sales and profitability targets
  • Building and monitoring client relationships
  • Supporting Senior Sales staff in developing, growing and retaining their portfolio of customers, ensuring a quality service is provided at all times
  • To prepare documentation for processing and payout
  • To respond to management initiatives on targeting particular sectors/niches
  • The contribution of new ideas for the development of the business
  • To effectively manage and report on pipeline business, demonstrated through accurate forecasting
  • To actively contribute to the sales team ensuring market and competitor information is shared and acted on where appropriate
  • To build relationships with clients and to manage those relationships effectively
  • To follow up leads efficiently and effectively
  • Successful completion of compliance and regulatory compulsive basic training, adhering to both legal and regulatory requirements

Personal Specification

  • Experience in a client facing role – minimum 3 years
  • A self Starter
  • A person who pro-actively seeks out new business opportunities with target prospects and effectively converts them into customers
  • Asset Finance or Private banking experience desirable
  • Multi-tasking capability
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Proven success in building relationships with people at all levels
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • IT literate and a good understanding of Microsoft office
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

£30,000 – £50,000
