Asset Valuation, Equipment Finance

Our client is part of a global bank and specialises in asset finance, leasing and rental solutions.
They have a portfolio of over €30 billion under management and more than 3,600 employees worldwide. They are widely recognised as the European Leasing Leader.

They offer a wide range of products from simple leasing arrangements to long term rental solutions across Hard Assets and IT asset management contracts principally through broker, dealer and manufacturer channels

In the UK they employ over 350 people with annual new business volumes of c£800m and portfolio in excess of £2bn.

Their Asset Management team is now looking to hire an Asset Valuation Manager to report directly into the Head of Asset Management and provide equipment valuations and to construct and maintain residual value matrices to support all client products. In addition support Sales with analysis for new initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regular audits of all the matrices by analysing existing internal, manufacturer and external data
  • Compile the M2M Quarterly report
  • Define optimum mileage and contract periods
  • Build and maintain Residual Value matrices for Construction, Commercial Vehicle, Farm and Materials Handling sectors.
  • Provide Asset valuations and Residual Value pricing.
  • Networking with Remarketing Manager to support the for mentoring and development the Asset Valuation and Remarketing Analyst role in all spheres of the job.
  • To liaise with Manufacturers, Auctions, Traders, Professional organisations and Trade Shows.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Submit regular reports to Line Management as/where required
  • Provide supporting back up holiday cover for Remarketing Manager
  • Present RV reviews at Risk committee meetings.
  • Responsible for adhering to policies, procedures, guidelines and the internal control framework established to guide the operation of their function in addition to regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required by my Line Manager

  • Ensure that adequate controls are in place to minimise risk to the Company and that these controls are operational, reviewing them as necessary to reflect any changes to procedures or the business.
